Earthquake emergency: every minute counts in Syria!

Four days after the earthquake devastated Turkey and Syria, COOPI workers, who have been present for some time, have not stopped for a moment. In the Governorate of Aleppo, the earthquake has destroyed entire buildings and damaged most of the structures still standing: the Syrian Ministry of Health has declared that 2,044,627 people have been affected by the earthquake in the area, and 4.5 million throughout the country.

It is precisely in Aleppo that the efforts of the COOPI network are focusing: COOPI Suisse is supporting them to bring first aid to the families.

But this is not enough.

Thousands of people have lost everything and are still in the cold, at the mercy of the harsh winter temperatures, without food, clothes. Without a home.

We need everyone’s support to support as many families as possible: we need food, blankets, winter clothes and medicine. And we must hurry.
