10 years with COOPI Suisse!

COOPI Suisse celebrates 10 years next 8 June: an important anniversary that represents a long journey of activities and projects in defence of the poorest people on the planet.

Since its foundation in Lugano in 2012 we have been committed to protecting children, promoting renewable energy, fighting malnutrition and ensuring access to water and food for the neediest communities. Ten years of activity that we will celebrate on 8 June 2022, at 18.00, at the Centro San Giuseppe in Lugano: for the occasion we will be pleased to have with us our supporters who have allowed us and still allow us to carry out all our projects.

After the greetings of Giampiero Gianella, of the FOSIT Committee, of Claudio Ceravolo, President of the COOPI Foundation, and of Sabrina Antorini Massa, Director of the Social Affairs Division of the City of Lugano, the video “COOPI Suisse, 10 years of activity” will be presented by our President of COOPI Suisse, Carla Ricci.

Afterwards there will be a moment of analysis and comparison in the conference “Food insecurity in Sub-Saharan Africa at the time of Covid and war”, held by Professor Maria Sassi, Teacher at the University of Pavia in Food Economics, Agricultural Development and Quantitative Policy Analysis for Development and Researcher for the European Union and International Organisms. The evening will be moderated by journalist Daniele Piazza, parliamentary correspondent for over 30 years in Bern for RSI.

Those wishing to attend are kindly requested to confirm their participation by e-mail at donors.ch@coopi.org or by phone at +41 (0)91 9663472. Please note that the conference will be held in Italian.
