Yes! to the Responsible Business Initiative

This documentary gives voice to those who usually do not have one: people who have been harmed by multinational companies’ activities abroad.

The Initiative for Responsible Businesses, which the Swiss people are called upon to vote on 29 November, requests the citizens to vote YES to oblige multinationals based in Switzerland to respect human rights and the environment. To ensure that companies comply with the new legislation, future violations will have legal consequences. Companies will therefore have to answer to human rights violations committed by their subsidiaries and affiliated companies.

The Initiative is supported by 130 associations that are committed to protect human rights, the environment, children’s rights and to development cooperation. An economic committee, made up of over 250 entrepreneurs, businessmen and women, also supports the Initiative together with 350 politicians from different parties. Also, churches have decided to support the Initiative. Also, churches have decided to support the Initiative.
